{"id":425,"date":"2017-02-13T10:14:08","date_gmt":"2017-02-13T10:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.recordersforall.org.uk\/?page_id=425"},"modified":"2023-09-18T11:46:06","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T11:46:06","slug":"sarah-whomersley","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.recordersforall.org.uk\/?page_id=425","title":{"rendered":"Sarah Whomersley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Sarah<\/strong> studied recorder and cello at the Royal College of Music which was a great place to explore early music and historical performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She then went on to Reading University, from which she graduated with a PGCE in secondary school music teaching.\u00a0Since then Sarah has worked in London and Cornish secondary schools.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She currently works\u00a0 in Cornwall as a peripatetic music teacher and teaches recorder to a wide variety of age groups and abilities.<\/p>\n<p>Sarah has various other music teaching roles including choirs, jazz band, recorder groups and a mixed Renaissance consort with cornamuse, loriman pipes, cornetts, strings, brass and recorders.
