Recorder Courses Originally from Belfast, Alyson read Music at Bristol University specialising in performance on the recorder and music history.
She taught music in Staffordshire schools, and now works as a freelance instrumental teacher in the South Staffs. Alyson tutors on courses for adults throughout the UK and teaching the instrument from beginner to diploma level.
In addition to teaching performing, conducting and singing Alyson runs Hawthorns Music publishing music for recorder and early music players.
