Ann Marshall

Ann has a social sciences degree and worked as a bilingual bursar and administrator.

Other than having a thorough grounding in listening to pop and rock, Ann was a late developer in music. She took up the saxophone twenty years ago, but it was not until 2005 that she took up the recorder, and soon after discovered a previously-unknown talent for composition.

She obtained a diploma in music and has put that to good use as a prolific composer and arranger, specialising in writing good and interesting music for less able players. Her work is very popular, and is published under the banner of May Hill Edition, which she runs with Steve.

Ann studies the recorder with Helen Hooker.
